The four golden rules for a perfect expresso


Preparing an expressso is like a real rite mixing art and science. And like all the rites, it has to observe certain rules which are four in this particular case.

1 - The Mix
For a great expresso, the mix is made of Arabica and Robusta for a balanced and harmonious taste between bitterness and acidity. The other important point is that the quality of the mix must remain stable.

2 - The Grinder
The expresso requires a grinding which could be a very thin powder or little pieces of grinding coffee of few millimetres depending on everyone’s taste. The grinder will help you until you’ll find the perfect grinding which suits you the best. To be sure of the ideal amount of coffee (6 or 7 gr per cup) required, it is recommended to use the measuring accessory provided with our coffee machines.

3 - The Coffee Machine

To prepare a perfect espresso, our coffee machine bring water to 90°C and provide a 9 atm pressure. It is also very important to clean daily the filter, the filter holder, the upper filter and the gasket.

4 - The Human Ability

Even if all the technical characteristics are important in making a good espresso, the result will also depends on the ability of the person who makes it. He will have to respect the 3 points described above and press the coffee properly just as it need to be pressed.
