Preparing an expressso is like a real rite mixing art and science.
And like all the rites, it has to observe certain rules which are
four in this particular case.
1 -
The Mix
For a great expresso, the mix is made of Arabica and Robusta for
a balanced and harmonious taste between bitterness and acidity.
The other important point is that the quality of the mix must remain
stable.
2 - The Grinder
The expresso requires a grinding which could be a very thin powder
or little pieces of grinding coffee of few millimetres depending
on everyone’s taste. The grinder will help you until you’ll
find the perfect grinding which suits you the best. To be sure of
the ideal amount of coffee (6 or 7 gr per cup) required, it is recommended
to use the measuring accessory provided with our coffee machines.
3 - The Coffee Machine
To prepare a perfect espresso, our coffee machine bring water to
90°C and provide a 9 atm pressure. It is also very important
to clean daily the filter, the filter holder, the upper filter and
the gasket.
4 - The Human Ability
Even if all the technical characteristics are important in making
a good espresso, the result will also depends on the ability of
the person who makes it. He will have to respect the 3 points described
above and press the coffee properly just as it need to be pressed.
